METEOROLOGICAL SITUATION AT 2100:
A very moist southerly flow covers Ireland between low pressure in the Atlantic and an anticyclone over the North Sea and Denmark. A shallow depression off the coast of Brest will track northwards over eastern areas during Wednesday and a cold front, slow moving along the west coast will track slowly eastwards also.

Forecast for coasts from Mizen Head to Erris Head to Malin Head

WIND:
South force 3 or 4, possibly, becoming variable for 2 to 4 for a time. Becoming mostly southwest force 3 or 4 later Wednesday.

WEATHER:
Scattered outbreaks of rain, drizzle becoming persistent during Wednesday, fog banks also, possibly clearing by this time tomorrow.

VISIBILITY:
mostly poor or moderate.

Southeast force 3 or 4 becoming variable force 2 or 3 for a time, later southerly force 3 or 4.

Fog banks especially in the south, scattered showers developing, possibly more persistent rain later.

Poor or moderate.
