A large, complex area of low pressure will be slow moving to the west of Ireland over the next few days steering in troughs over Ireland and Britain.

Southeasterly force 7 at first in the North Channel. Generally south to southwest force 5 or 6 occasionally force 7. Decreasing south to southeast force 4 tonight. Increasing southwesterly force 5 tomorrow morning in southern coastal waters.
Mainly fair. Locally heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms.
Generally good/locally poor in showers.Warning of heavy swell: Nil.
Outlook for a further 24 hours until 1200 Monday 06 July 2015:
Moderate to fresh south to southwest winds backing southeasterly and increasing fresh to strong. Veering southerly Monday morning from Carnsore Point to Loop Head and increasing strong to gale force. Scattered showers. Heavy rain/fog extending northwards later.
