Emer Finnan
Emer Finnan joined EBS Building Society in July 2005 as Director of Strategic Development and Secretary.
From 1998 to 2005 Emer work as a Director in NCB Corporate Finance. During this time Emer advised many companies and specialised in the financial services sector. Assignments included advising ACC Bank on its sale, Irish Life & Permanent on its acquisition of TSB and the Nesbitt family on the privatisation of Arnotts.
From 1994 to 1998, Emer worked with ABN Amro in London in their Corporate Finance Department and advised on a number of assignments including the First Active and Irish Permanent demutalisations. From 1993 to 1994 Emer worked for Solomon Brothers in London.
Emer is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, having qualified with KPMG, and holds a BComm. Degree.
