    Tubridy (with Simon Delaney)

Unpredictable, up to the minute and never too far from the heart of the matter, Ryan Tubridy hears what you have to say from 9.00 - 11.00 each week day on RTE 2fm

    Relationship with the boss

In the papers this morning it has been revealed that 85 per cent of people have slept with a workmate. The study by U Magazine showed boardroom bonking is high on the agenda among Irish workers. Rob got in touch to say he had a relationship with his boss a few years ago; he had to be careful because she was actually his mother’s boss too.  It was pretty awkward but it all worked out and they have three beautiful children.

    Alternative Weddings

2FM’s Louise Heraghty joined Simon in studio to talk about alternative weddings.

Gemma heard Simon discuss the Handfasting on the Hill of Slane on Sunday night. She was the High Priestess who conducted the ceremony. Gemma had an absolutely incredible night even if it was rather on the chilly side, a huge congrats to Glen and Margo the happy couple.

And another Gemma told Simon about her wedding she had in a giant conservatory in Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver, Canada. In the conservatory there were tropical birds and fish and her husband surprised her by giving everyone animal masks. So she walked down the aisle surrounded by real and fake animals. Even though it was hard to hear the minister over the parrot squawking.

Claire, Aidan and Mark got in touch with response to the listener’s email about nerdy children.

    Jerry Flannery

Former Irish rugby player Jerry Flannery dropped into studio to talk to Simon about his involvement in World Vision Ireland’s Survive to Five day which takes place across the country on Sunday 5th May.
