THE CURE - BACK & FORTH The Alternative To Sleep! Alt Rock, Metal, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Electro, plus the RTE 2fm studio sessions, & live music from across Europe.

The Cure are one of the most enduring and influential bands in modern music. With more classics in their career than you could possibly comprehend, they continue to play extremely well-received live shows all over the world. Dan will be trawling through their music, and playing tracks from their extensive back catalogue.

‘Absolute Zero’ (out May 10th), the debut album from Little Green Cars was recorded a year ago, so you’d imagine that the band are as happy about its release as the rest of us! As you’d expect, this is a strong debut, which will no doubt help the band with their steady upward trajectory.

Ghostpoet’s second album ‘Some Say I So I Say Light’ comes with a weight of expectancy with it. So, does it live up to the hopes, or dare I say it the hype? Yes, absolutely! It sounds slightly slicker than 2011’s ‘Peanut Butter Blues & Melancholy Jam’, but withholds much of that albums charm.

Tieranniesaur are back with ‘DIYSCO’, an album that will have you feet tapping, your fingers clicking, and anything else that moves moving! The slight surprise is that the title track may well be the weakest on the album, but that speaks volumes for the other 12 tracks.

We have two pairs of tickets for Sea Sessions to give away on the show this week. The festival takes place on June 21 to 23 in Bundoran, Co. Donegal, and hosts artists like DJ Yoda, Bastille, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Soak, Young Wonder, and loads of others.

Dan will be giving away tickets on Tuesday and Wednesday’s show. Tuesday’s question is: What county is Bundoran situated in?

*You must be over 18 to attend Sea Sessions.
