Today on the show we were talking about the case of a woman who was fined 300 Euro for her daughter missing school on 89 occasions and has asked what she can do to make her daughter attend school. The woman said that her 15 year old daughter looks more like a twenty year old and she cannot physically force her attend school anyway. Should school attendance in school of teenagers be the sole-responsibility of the parent?

Also with the details to Croke Park II becoming apparent we asked public sector workers if they would be voting 'yes' or 'no' on the agreement

And Colm spoke to two more people with big ideas. Mark is a Pharmacist who wants to educate people about the best food to eat for specific health conditions and John is a teacher who has developed a series of comics of Shakespeare's plays that will help Junior Cert and Leaving Cert students as they prepare for their English exams
