Breakfast with Hector
Friday the 13th, unlucky for some. Hector received an email from an unlucky listener, Emma Ryan, who at 6.49am had already had a bad day. Her car broke down and flames started coming from the glove box. Her car ended up being written off and all she asked for was a BWH mug. Hector granted her request and the lovely people at Supervalu threw in a €100 voucher for her also.
Don't Panic was a rematch between the Mullingar woman, Sarah, and the Dub, Deborah. Deborah managed to win fair and square this morning and will be heading off to WWE Live in The 02 on 7th November and she'll receive a BWH mug.
BWH has teamed up with Supervalu this week. Supervalu are supporting local communities and are giving €5,000 to one community based cause. Hector chose two causes each day from Monday to Thursday this week. This morning Supervalu gave Hector €100 vouchers to give to those carrying out Random Acts of Kindness in their communities. The overall prize of €5,000 went to Kellie Flanagan's nominated group, the 2nd Louth Blackrock Sea Scouts, Co. Louth.
Sandra in Cabinteely, had a very Cranky Car this morning. On ringing Hector, Sandra's 9 year old son, Callum, got out of the car and refused to get back in until his mother stopped embarrassing him on the National airwaves. Younger sister, Freya, was strapped in to the back of the car with little option but to stay put!
Have a good weekend, Ireland. You deserve it! KHL.
