Breakfast with Hector
On this morning's show, the long standing Don't Panic Champion, Simon Fennell from Abbeyleix, saw his demise. Limerick woman, Eilís Bartley, took over the reign and won herself an overnight with breakfast and evening meal in the beautiful Mullingar Park Hotel situated in Co. Westmeath.
Alan began a quote of the day frenzie when he came out with, "A woman is quick to reject a man that lives with his mother, but will accept a man that lives with his wife". Plenty of funny, inspiring, and random quotes began culminating as the text machine was inundated with quotes.
All this week, BWH has teamed up with Supervalu. Supervalu are supporting local communities and are giving €5,000 to one community based cause. We're looking for something local that takes place in your area that needs help. Tune in after 8am everyday this week, text in your nominations (ROI: 51552 - NI: 80889) and Hector will choose two causes daily to go forward for Supervalu's funding. Today's community groups in need were Killarney Scorchers Cheerleaders and Portlaoise Men's Shed.
A Cranky Car was located in Gorey Co. Wexford this morning as Aileen rang Hector in desperation. Will, Rory and Ross begin in wrestling in the morning's before school and drag little sister Rosie into the mix. Mammy, Aileen, was feeling a bit Cranky this morning along with the rest of the car and rang Hector's Cranky Car. They all sang the song to restore a peaceful atmosphere en route to school and crèche.
Until tomorrow, KHL.
