Breakfast with Hector
Happy Friday! Don't Panic had a new contestant, Simon Fennell from Laois competing against Angie from Dublin. Angie ultimately had to accept defeat and Simon managed to win himself VIP admission to The Curragh for the Gain Irish St. Leger Race Day taking place on Sunday 15th September. He will have premier level seats overlooking the racecourse, lunch with wine, and a luxury stay at the Killashee House Hotel & Villa Spa in Naas including full Irish breakfast and four course dinner.
Dairylea has given Hector daily prizes all this week of a hamper full of Dairylea products and an annual family pass to Dublin Zoo. This morning's winner was Caroline Casserly from Rathmines. As well as the hamper and pass, Caroline won the overall draw with a prize of a 7 night stay in the luxurious Rose Garden Lodge at the Mount Juliet Estate in Kilkenny and €500 spending money.
Ger Loughnane of Clare and Tomás Mulcahy of Cork had a quick chat with Hector this morning ahead of the All Ireland Hurling Final in Croke Park on Sunday. A great match is promised as both sides are young, fit and hungry for the title. Follow Hector on Twitter before the match on Sunday as he will be on the pitch.
And our Cranky Car this morning was from Katie in Kilfenora who has had an awful time of it lately! For all her troubles, Hector gave her a mug.
Have a great weekend, Ireland. You deserve it! KHL
