Breakfast with Hector
Wednesday morning and Hector has a new Don't Panic champion. Ciaran Lynch from Tullamore had been in the lead for several days but Clare woman, Joanne Bourke, fought her corner. Ciaran briefly mentioned his blog, Fat Dad Run, where he writes about regaining his fitness and weight loss. Joanne won tickets to see M People in Vicar Street on September 28th. She will be looking for another opponent tomorrow for 8.40am.
Hector has teamed up with Dairylea all this week. Hector has daily prizes of a hamper full of Dairylea products and an annual family pass to Dublin Zoo. Anne-Marie Mhic Lochlainn in Dublin 14 was this morning's qualifier. As well as the hamper and pass, Anne-Marie will be entered into Friday's draw for the overall prize of a 7 night stay in the luxurious Rose Garden Lodge at the Mount Juliet Estate in Kilkenny and €500 spending money.
Nicola in Dundalk text Cranky Car this morning simply writing "Help"! Nicola was in the middle of dropping her children to different schools at opposite ends of the town to one another. She had managed to burn a piece of wood belonging to her son's woodwork project, and her 7 year old daughter was the only remaining sane person in the car!
We'll be back from 7-9am tomorrow. KHL
