Breakfast with Hector
It's Friday morning and Hector has a new champion on Don't Panic. Pamela Maguire was challenged by Dave O'Connor. The competition was close and the two were level throughout. It came down to a tie breaker and the Dub, Dave O'Connor, got in first with his true or false answer. Dave will be heading off for a two night stay for two in the Bridge House Hotel, Tullamore, with breakfast both mornings and dinner on one evening.
Rob Heffernan, gold medal winner and world champion, joined Hector on the phone this morning live from Moscow Airport. Rob saw all the #DoTheHeff videos online and was laughing as people impersonated his walk. Rob will be welcomed home in Cork tonight.
The Loop are proud sponsors of this year's Rose of Tralee International festival. In celebration, they have given Hector an overall prize to give away this morning of a hotel stay, spending money and flights to a place where one of the Roses comes from. The daily prize is a hamper worth €200 packed full of goodies from leading brands at The Loop and entry into the overall draw. This morning's daily qualifier was Yvonne Twomey. Yvonne was also pulled out of the draw this morning and will be jetting off to Italy with €500 to spend at The Loop along with a champagne reception, €250 spending money, return flights and 2 nights hotel stay with breakfast each morning and dinner one evening.
Nicky Byrne spoke to Hector about tonight's episode of The Hit. Samantha Mumba and Republic of Loose go head to head as they try and find a song they can make a Hit. Tune in tonight on RTÉ One from 9.35pm.
Hope you have a nice weekend. From all the BWH head quarters, KHL.
