Breakfast with Hector
It's Leaving Cert. results day and Hector heard the stories of people who didn't get the results they'd hoped for but have gone on to do well in life regardless. It's a day where some students will be happy and others sad, but the only thing to remember is that the results are not the end of the world. You can see some inspiring stories on our facebook page.
Milena Muntha saw her demise this morning on Don't Panic. She had been leading the way for 3 days but this morning she Panicked on the first question! Cliff McDonagh was her competitor and he managed to win himself a lovely two night break for two at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Athlone with breakfast each morning and dinner on one evening.
Today marks the start of The Rose of Tralee International Festival. The Loop are proud sponsors of this year's festival. In celebration, they have given Hector an overall prize to give away on Friday of a hotel stay, spending money and flights to a place where one of the Roses comes from. The daily prize is a hamper worth €200 packed full of goodies from leading brands at The Loop and entry into Friday's draw. Today's winner was Ollie Dunphy from Tallaght.
Well done to all those getting Leaving Cert. results today. We'll be back tomorrow between 7-9am. KHL.
