Breakfast with Hector
It’s Friday! Hector had a chat this morning with Trevor in Tramore. Sadly Trevor’s pet bearded dragon, Valcore, passed away on Wednesday. Trevor has two more dragons, Valarie and Fanta. The “beardies” eat live crickets and require special tanks with heated lamps to replicate their native Australian climate.
Jenny Davis was in top form again this morning, shouting her name at the top of her voice! She defended her title meaning Dubs are still the reigning champions in Dubs v ROC. We’ll be looking for a new challenger for her on Monday morning.
Gone To The Dogs saw new BWH team member, Doireann, moan about Chipsticks. They’re just not what they used to be! Sandra has an issue with driver etiquette and the manners of people on the roads these days. And Trish Farrell had tried every type of clothes peg on offer and still couldn’t find one that wouldn’t break! We’ll be sending Trish to the dogs for her troubles and taking time to get it off her chest this morning.
Our BBQ competition in connection with Love Irish Food had two winners today. Victor in Finglas won himself a brand new state of the art barbecue and gave us a good laugh with his BBQ grill joke! We put all the winner’s names from this week into the draw and Leah Beggs, Thursday’s winner, came out. Leah won the Ultimate Garden Party prize and will be enjoying a complete patio set, gas heater, gazebo, BBQ, gas and utensils this summer.
Mammy, Nicola Wade, slept it in this morning and caused the whole Car to be Cranky. The Wade family were on the school run in Mornington, Co. Meath, when Hector spoke to them. Jamie, Finn, Leah and Anna were not impressed with their mother having them late for school so to ensure it doesn’t happen again, they sang her the Cranky Car song!
That’s it for this week. Enjoy your weekend. Until Monday morning at 7am, KHL.
