Breakfast with Hector
Have you got your Cork passport yet? Organisers of Cork Rebel Week (October 14th – 20th) have started issuing Rebel Passports as part of The Gathering festival. Cork musician, John Spillane was on the phone this morning. He was one of the first people in Cork to get one of the much anticipated Rebel Passports. Himself and Hector also sung a rendition of Oro Sé do Bheatha Bhaile!
Dubs v the Rest of The Country saw a change in champion this morning. Liz Bracken has won two mornings in a row this week but Dublin’s Jenny Davis was quick to make her name heard! Champion Jenny is now entered into Friday’s draw and will be back on-air in the morning to defend her title.
Hector’s competition with Love Irish Food continued today. Three questions, three answers with the first letters spelling BBQ. Leah Beggs identified and answered all three correctly. She has won herself a brand new gas barbecue and has been entered into Friday’s Big Draw for a chance to win The Ultimate Garden party prize comprising of everything you could need for a summer BBQ.
The Campion family were up early this morning and there was a few Cranky heads in the Car! Mum Cliona was on the school run and ended up handing over the phone to her children to sing the Cranky Car song!
Congratulations to Tubs on a successful birthday party last night. A great and late night enjoyed by all!
Tomorrow’s Friday, the weekend is almost upon us. Until then, KHL.
